Defect Reports that pay for themselves.
The residential home building industry has changed significantly in the last 20 years, and many tradesmen have now not been through a formal apprenticeship system. There are critical trade shortages which means builders do not have the same authority on site controlling quality workmanship.
Trades in short supply means they are are calling the shots, and hourly rates keeps escalating. The standard of workmanship has diminished significantly from 20 years ago. Every time I have been engaged to undertake a building defect inspection, the value of defects in my report has been more than 20 times my report fee.
If you have moved into your new home and after six months find obvious defects, please give our office a call for an obligation free 20 minute consultation.
